This site is about the Work as G.I. Gurdjieff presented it in Beelzebub’s Tales and other writings, and what that understanding implies for a civilization in decline. The material here comes in three forms: essays, a reading cycle, and books. Same material, different depths.
The essays are the public entry point. Five of them form the spine of the archive, and they are meant to be read in order because each one depends on the one before it:
How We Got Here: Gurdjieff and the Disappearance of Man traces the historical decline, internal and external.
The Kundabuffer Singularity follows from that and demonstrates where it is heading.
Bypassing Your Artificial Intelligence moves the examination inward to the individual psyche.
The Kundabuffer and the Topsy-Turvy Enlightenment closes the arc by showing why the modern world is inverted rather than merely wrong, and why everything you learned in history class was propaganda for particular groups of what Gurdjieff calls “power-possessing beings.”

The Ninety-Day Threshold.The reading cycle goes deeper into the source material itself. The 90-day reading of Beelzebub’s Tales, and only the Tales, is the main commitment. It runs twice yearly for paid subscribers and includes a new commentary post each week on one section of the text. It is not a course. There is no discussion group. There is no workbook. It is a structured encounter with the text for people who are actually going to read it. New cycles open on a schedule. When one closes, another opens.
